High winds kept most anglers off our local lakes last week. As conditions change, there are always good opportunities for trout and bass anglers along the South Coast.

Winter is still a good time of year to harvest holdover rainbow trout. Lake temperatures have been cold, so anglers are slowing down their presentation when trolling lures or bait, because the fish are less active.
