Winter is still a good time of year to harvest holdover rainbow trout. Lake temperatures have been cold, so anglers are slowing down their presentation when trolling lures or bait, because the fish are less active.

Last Saturday was the end of the wild coho season on Tenmile, Tahkenitch and Siltcoos lakes. Only about 50 coho were taken out of the 850-fish quota.
